You Deserve Love INC

About me

I am an author, educator and SURVIVOR

Veronica is a survivor and advocate of domestic abuse.

Her journey to conquer lack, marriage, abuse, divorce, single parenting, miscarriages, financial ruin, many failed relationships, and unforgiveness was a journey tackled alone for over 25 years.  Her life’s journey was the reason for founding You Deserve Love Inc – the nonprofit organization that will bring public awareness to domestic violence and to nurture women after trauma.   Her passion and purpose is to educate, inspire and empower women to unapologetically make life transformations in order to live the life they desire and deserve.

You Deserve Love Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit organization based in Starkville, MS dedicated to bringing global awareness to domestic violence.

We know that education empowers individuals so bringing awareness to domestic violence and demonstrating love can help eradicate abuse to self and others.  We are committed to educating and empowering survivors in our schools, churches, community, and companies about domestic violence.

“Live everyday on purpose and with purpose.”- Dr. Veronica Outlaw

Who We Serve

We work with survivors who are processing the trauma, whether the abuse is past or present.  Trauma affects individuals differently, but education and mentoring can empower survivors to make impactful transformations for themselves and the community.  Processing trauma and embracing forgiveness also happens at different rates for each person, but our ultimate goal is to help survivors to heal, live, and love.

How We Do It

Without judgment, we nurture the survivor where they, demonstrate love, and educate and empower them to independence, self-love, freedom, and peace.

No age, race, gender, sexual orientation, educational status, cultural group, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status, or geographic location is exempt from abuse. No one should live in fear or bondage.  No one deserves to be abused.  Love doesn’t hurt.  Everyone deserves love.

Through mentoring, awareness and training in life skills, workforce development, and entrepreneurship through workshops, speaking events, and specific programs we strive to help survivors to begin to heal, forgive, live, and love.  This transformation can help eradicate domestic violence.
